\ Attack on Girl MONEY AND CHEQUES STOLEN Sydney, Sept. 15. . A thief at Newcastle to-day snatched a handbag containing £4OO in cheques and £6O; in cash from a girl employed by a local produce store. The girl was taking the money to the bank when a young man on the sidewalk suddenly leapt forward, grabbed the bag, tossed the girl aside and decamped on a motorcycle. -
