KING'S THEATRE
"CAPTIVATION"
Betty Stockfield as the pampered, sophisticated society darling in British Dominions' new release, "Captivation," at the King's Theatre, once again proves that it is extremely dangerous to speculate on anything much outside of Phar Lap these days, especially with regard to beautitul women. So divinely alluring Avas Miss Stockfield in "City of Song," the British operetta that was so sensationally received, that, critics were moved to comment that nothing or nobody could excel her. But Betty herself" gives the lie to that contention by appearing more ravishing and glamorous than ever in "Captivation in which incidentally, Conway Tearle and Frederick Volpc, the merry admiral of "The Middle Watch," also appear.
