Press Association.—Copyright,
London, April 21. —"West End actors and actresses having a lean time at home need not, imagine that the peopla of oven-sea Dominions are waiting to pay their hard-aarncd money for indifferent fare which London rejected," writes Sybil Thorndike in the Daily Mail. She recently concluded a tour of Nfcw Zealand and Australia.
"Even the small towns are becoming increasingly discriminating, scorning puerile farces and preferring plays like Saint Joan," she states. "Australia and New Zealand are builcfing up their own individual drama. I believe that there is a fertila field of co-operation for the London and Dominion theatres and the profession."
