Timaru, Today—lt is definitely announced that the Timaru Woollen Mills, which have been closed for over two years, will shortly reopen. Negotiations between a local syndicate and the liquidators of Macky, Logan and Caldwell Ltd., the owners, resulted in a syndicate acquiring the mill property on satisfactory terms. The machinery has been well cared for during the idle period nnd is. ready to commence manufac-. turing.
