Stratford Pairs Tournament NOVEL SYSTEM INSTITUTED Five of eight teams taking part in a progressive pairs tournament at the Stratford Bowung Club's green yestel"' day were drawn by ballot. Dusk commenced to f«U before the tournament was completed, but five games of seven heads were played during the afternoon. Sunny weather prevailed and the afternoon was thoroughly enjoyed, At the conclusion of play the scores were;
The semi-final wag played between Sanderson's and L,awson v s teams, both of which bed had. three wins and a loss, \\'nh (our heads of the semifinal played the two teams were i : M even, and an extra head was i>u\.■■-,., It resulted in favour of Simdev.-um, who has now to meet I.<id.detf , a team in the final, which \\\\U be played at the week-end.
