Foxton, April 20—Awakened by smoke and the noise of fire at 4 a.m. on Thursday, Mr. R. A, Easton, owner and occupier of a dwelling on a farm near the Foxton-Levin main highway at Whirokino, found his h«me In flames, and after rousing his son, who was also sleeping on the premises, had to make a hurried exit without being able to save anything.
