Paris, April 18„—An official of the Trans - Saharan Company States that if Captain Lancaster is in the Tanezruft Desert there is little chance that he will be found alive.
Sand storms are preventing further search.
There is a slender hope that Captain Lancaster may have encountered a caravan of nomad tribes.
