An excellent musical programme was presented bv the Palmerston North Salvation Army Citadel Band at the Town Hall on Saturday evening and the efforts of all members in either combined or solo Selections showed a high standard of talent. The programme was efficiently presented by the M.C., Ensign Gray. Each item of the programme was well 'rendered and fully appreciated by the large audience. The items were as follow: Song, "Arise My Soul," audience and band' accompaniment; march. "Nt;W Zealand Warriors," band; vocal, maleoctet, "Rise and Shine"; cornet solo, Bro. A. Taylor; selection, "On to Victory," band; vocal duet, "My Task/' Bros. H. Prince and S. Cottrill; instrumental quartet. " Memories"; saxophone solo. Bro. H. Prince; cornet duet, "Deliverance/' Bros. A. Taylor and J. Clegg, with band accompaniment; vocal duet, Bro. and Sis. Bell; euphonium solo, Bro. Hall; comedy sketch, Bro. Prince; selection "American Melodies." band; male vocal quartet. "Old Time Religion"; trombone solo. "Firefly," Bro. S. Sym.es; selection, "Pai/'ol," and march, "New Zealand." band. Sisters Bell and' Moore acted as accompanists during the evening.
