Press Association. —Copyright. Tokomaru Bay, April 11.—Two men Messrs. P. Fairlie and Pine Tuhaka. both aged 25, had a narrow escape from drowning when their dinghy capsized in a heavy swell in Tokomaru Bay. , c , The men had set out to catch crayfish. Mr Fairlie had the oars and Mr. Tuhaka was hauling in the crayfish pots when the boat turned broadside on to the swell and capsized. Mr. Fairlie swam 500 yards to the wharf and summoned Captain Plummer. The two returned in another dinghy and rescued Mr. Tuhaka who had held on to the upturned boat for a considerable time in the rough and cold seas. The boat was later brought m by a fisherman who had been out in a launch and had found it drifting well out m the bay.
