LARGE YARDING OF SHEEP TWO-TOOTH EWES MAKE 16/8 Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report on their annual sheep fair at Matiere as follows: — We held our annual sheep fair fit the-Matiere saleyards on Friday last. The yarding comprised 0000 sheep, and buyers were present from all parts of the Ohura County and Waikato. Bidding was brisk for some lines, and, with the exception of a line of 260 ewes.and one pen of lambs, the yarding was cleared under the hammer. Lambs made from 4/3 to 9/fl, and four-year-old ewes, sold on account of Mr. W. H. Fife, of Niho Nino, made 10/5. A line of 122 twotooth ewes, sold on account of Messrs Goldfinch and Co., made 16/8.
