WHITE AND BLUE BABY FUNDS The euchre and dance party held at Midhirst in aid pf the White and Blue baby was another outstanding success, visitors being present from Stratford and all surrounding districts. It was one of the most enjoyable and sociable evenings spent in the Mid. I hirst hall. | The first prizes for the euchre were won by Miss Jean Jones and Mr. 11. J Lutze, the second by Mrs. R. Meads : and Mr. A. Skedgewell (after playing a i final with Mr. Frank Kovaleski ami ! Master B. Jones), the third by Mrs. ■ Piper (after re.plays with Mrs. L. Vickers, Miss I. Vickers and Mastei B. Jones), and the consolation by Mrs, Cliff Phillips and Master C. Harknesa (after re-plays with Mr. D. Hcrkness ■uid Mr. L. Ford). The Monte Carlo dances were won by Miss J. Wildon and Mr. Newland, Miss F. Kovaleski and Mr. L. Ford. The supper ticket prize was won by Mr. J. Dill. A cako was w'Mi by Mr. Frank Kovaleski, who re-donated it. The smoking cabinet was;, won by Peggy Hogg, and the chocolates by Mrs. Tempero. As this is the last effort on behalf of the White and Blue baby at Midhirst the committee was very pleased with tho excellent response to its numerous calls and hicped that as a result of the generous efforts the Midhirst baby will be near the top on Saturday nigh'. The box of chocolates and tin of cigarettes donated by Tuna residents were won by Mr. A. Reichart.
