State for India in Council granted Sir Geoffrey de Montmorency, Gover. nor of the Punjab, leave of absence for urgent reasons of health. The King has been pleased to approve that Khan Bahadur Captain Sardar, Sikander Hyst Khan, senior member of the Executive Council of the Governor of Punjab, shall act as Governor in Sir Geoffrey de Mont, mprency’s absence. ; U k-‘
