(CALCUTTA, Wed. Twenty were killed and hundreds injured in a tornado .in East Bengal. Whole villages were razed, and hundreds of cattle killed.

' Wealthy landowners and moneylenders in remote villages ar« victims of daring hold-ups. Gangs of youths armed with revolvers and knives break into a house and torture the inmates till their cash and jewellery is surrendered.
