PROFESSOR HORNELL’S REPORT
NOT REACHED DOMINION KAWARAU GOLDMINING SCHEME Press Association.-Copyright. WELLINGTON, This Day. Mr. G. A. C. Robieson, the chairman of the New Amalgamated Company, in connection with the extraction of gold from the bed of the Kawarau River, states that the report of Professor Hornell has not yet reached New Zealand. Statements made during the hearing of a civil action in Dunedin on October 6, that the report was in possession of the bank, which would release it on payment of £1,500 by the new company, was wholly incorrect, both in regard to the fee and the position of the report, which has not yet reached the Dominion.
