HOCKEY CLUE'S CONCERT
i . . —o . i WKANGAMOMONA AND KOHURATAHI The concert in aid of the Whangamomona and Kohuratahi Hockey Clubs at Kohuratahi on Friday, under the direction of Mr. T. Haughton, and organised by Mrs. P. Main, reflected great credit on the ability of both. The stage decorations were of a class not. usually seen in a country hall. A feature of the stage was the electric lighting, installed by Mr. P. Fougere. The costumes were of bright, arid smart design, and lent colour to the scenes. The programme was as follows": Opening chorus and ballet; song, Mrs. Stephens; farce, "The Eternal Tri- ! angle I," Miss V. Anderson, Messrs. T. Haughton and Cameron; recitation, Mrs. P. Main; ballet and chorus, "Oh, i Doris," Miss A. Voltz, Mr. Walters i and chorus; farce, "The Eternal Triangle, II"; song, "Ninepence and Fourpence," the company; ballet and chorus, "Monterey," Messrs. Waders, Cameron and chorus; dialogue, "Two Black Crows," Mr. E. Cleland, Mr. Haughton; ballet and chorus, "The chorus; recitation, Mrs. P. Main; Pride of the Pier," Miss A. Voltz and farce, "The Eternal Triangle, lIJ,"< Miss S. Might, Miss- Cleland and Mr. R. Cleland; song, Mrs. Stephens; drama, "The Imperial Alibi," Misses Cleland, Messrs. .1. Law, T. Haughton, C. Cameron and L, Hill; finale, the company.
