MARAMA SIGHTS OIMARA
VESSEL REPORTS ALL WELL
AUCKLAND, March 211
The captain of the Marama sent the following wireless to the Herald last
night: “Spoke to yacht Oimara at 6 p.m. in latitude 34.4 and longitude 1 55.25. All has gone well and a fresh northerly with a moderate to rough sen is being experienced.” The Mamma cleared Sydney Heads for Auckland at four o’clock on Friday afternoon, and would be about 350 mill's out when she sighted the Oimara.
