R.A.F. TRAINEES
QUOTA FOR AUSTRALIA LONDON, March 5. The Air Ministry has agreed to Australia’s request to accept 12 flying officers thisyear on short-service R.A.F. commissions, and ten in each ol the next two years. Hitherto eight have been received annually. The Air Ministry pays Australia £1,500 for each* oflicer. The scheme is expected to enable normal training to continue at Point Cooke.
