ALLEGED THEFT.
A POSTAL PACKET, CHARGE OF FRAUD BROUGHT. NELSON, October 11. Frank James Lewis, of Owen River, was charged to-day with fraudulently stating that he had posted a postal packet containing money, lie pleaded not. guilty, and was committed loi trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court.
