INJURED IN COLLISION ON BRIDGE.
KNEECAP SPLINTERED. A well-known businessman of Hawoilai, Mr. Frank Oordery, branch manager of Todd Motors, Ltd., received injuries to a kneecap when ho was involved i;n a hoad-on collision on the bridge on tho Junction lH<>ad west of Jnglewood. |The injury to the kneecap, which was badiy splintered, will keep him in hospital for a considerable time. Tn company with Mr, Andrew Todd, a AVelington member of the firm, Air. Oordery wa« driving from Hawcra to New Plymouth when ,their ear collided with another car driven by a. resident 'of Gtratford, who was returning home.
