THE ELEVENTH DAY. REPORTS SHOW FEDERAL SUCCESSES. GENERAL STATEMENTS BY REV GLUTTON ARIES. (Received 12.40 p.m.) NEW YORK, October 15. The Brazilian revolution has entered on its eleventh day, with available reports • indicating that the Federals thus far have the edge in. military operations. The Federals claim victories in all sectors, particularly on tho 200 miles’Sao Paulo-Parana front, in the State of Minasgeraes and Eastern Rio de Janeiro. The Government is credited with two victories in Upper Rio do Janeiro, which will remove the menace from the Federal capital. While the Federals continue to march through Menasgeraes, one of tho first three States organising the rebellion, victories in the Sao PauloParana sector are claimed in more than a dozen towns, with tho rebels being gradually forced southward in Parana, removing immediate danger to the large city of Sao Paulo, the first goal of the southern revolters. The insurgents’ quarters continue to make general statements saying that the advances, of the southern revolutionaries have the Federals badly worried. The rebels predict that a decisive battle in the Sao Paulo-Parana region will be fought soon.
