EX-COMMUNICATED.

TWO MEN AND A WOMAN "THOSE GODLESS PEOPLE". LONDON, Oct. 13. There has been an extraordinary sequel to the award of the Consistory Court at Durham last week which ordered the removal df certain articles from a church of which 600 parishioners complained on the ground that they were Romanist. The Rev. E. A. Merryweather from the pulpit of Pel ton Chuich, Chesterlee Street, on Sunday announced the ex-communication, of two men and one woman who gave evidence ait the Consistory Court. "We cannot go on being disturbed by these Godless people", said Mr. Merryweather. "I shall expel them from the congregation for three years and ask all Christian people to treat them as heathens and publicans. They are denied all the rights and privileges of the sacraments of the Church".
