Mr Fred Hancock, ji journalist of the Brisbane Courier, while proceeding 1 to Darwin to meet Kingst'ord Smith, met with a fatal accident. His plane had landed at Townsrille and the engine was left running:. H'ancock was descending from the machine when he slipped and Ms head struck the propellor. He died in a few niin. Tites.
