An ex-soldier named. Hanson, who lost a leg In’ the war | was one of Six people rescued in a flr e at Islington, Liverpool, recently. Two workmen' climbed on the roof and one used his bpdy as a ladder, along yhich Hanson* crawled into the arms of the other. Then on e of the rescuers sdld to the other, “Come on, mate, we’ll be late for work!" And off they went, without giving their names o r ad- . - ' '
