‘DON’T APPRECIATE HUSBANDS’ SAYS CALIFORNIAN. LOOKS TO N.S.W. 'SYDNEY, .July 28. Complaining that wives in Hollywood, U.S.A., do not appreciate then husbands, a resident of that city is anxious to obtain a wife from Australia. When Mr P. G. Bundy, 1529 Vino fcstrdet, Hollywood, California, read in u Sydney newspaper that young women were having hard times in New South Wales looking for work, bo wrote tq Mr C. J. B. llcmore, of the Sydney Labour Exchange:— “Women ought not to have to run around like that, hut what are you going tq do when women won’t stay with their husbands. “If I thought [ could iind a nicelooking, well-built young woman, in jour country, I would lie happy—one who would always stand by her bnsband thru thick and thin. Sue would never have to worry where her home and food were coming from ; it would always he on hand.
“Don’t think this letter foolish, because women bene in Hollywood don’t know how to tread their husbands when, they get them.’’
