Keen interest is 'being taken in the Canadian elections in view of the effect on tlie British tariff controversy. The Morning “Post” says the* result may come as a blow to Lord BeaverBrook since it eniorces a warning that Empire free trade is unlikely to foe acceptable to Canada.
