AUSTRALIAN RELIEF WORKERS SYDNEY, July 23. Hundreds of relief works strikers, of yesterday, turned up to-day and were told there was nothing for them and (hat they were unlikely to be called up again when the works were restarted on Monday. The men were very dejected and rein rued to the Trades Hull whcic taey violently attacked the Government. The Railway Department is lacing a loss of £70,000 a week owing to slackness of trade and the question of reducing train services is under consideration.
