The view of the success which has attended (ho introduction of n national t rade mark in New Zealand, Canada and other countries, also in view of the increasing demand by the public for goods produced in the Dominion, the Manufacturers Federation decided to mov ( > in the direction of obtaining the necessary regulations governing (he use of national trade mark, and to institute a design competition, offering a prize of £1") and two of £o. The Federation hopes to have a Dominion trade mark in general use next year.
