KILLED BY A TREE
TRAGEDY AT LYELL. REEFTON, July 4. A man named Reynold Dufor, was killed at Lycll this afternoon. Ho was engaged, with, three others, by the Public Works and a tree was felled by the two above, and, getting caught, was deflected in its fall. It struck Dufor, who'was below, fracturing his skull. Death was instantaneous. Deceased, at one time, resided in Auckland and was a single man.
