NORMANBY DISPUTE. APPEAL COURT HEARING. Press Association—Copyright. WELLINGTON, This Day. The Court of Appeal is engaged to-day in hearing an appeal in. the pase of Emily Abigail Free, of Normjajihy, a widow, against John Ba'ngham Ricaards, and George Ingamells Harper, executors under the will of Walter Goodland, late of Haw era. Appellant is a daughter of Goodland and fought an orginating summons before the Supreme Court at New Plymouth in March last. She alleged that under the will of her father, she had hot bee*n treated equally w"’i her sisters, and claimed adequate provision for the proper maintenance and (support of herself out of her father’s estate. The matter wag heard before Mr Justice Reid, who in an oral judgment, held that Mrs Free had not shown that her father had failed in his duty to her, and dismissed the application. Mrs Free is now appealing from this decision. . For appellant, Mr O’Dea is appearing, and for respondent Mr Quilliam.
