, MONDAY’S TOURNEY. Entries for the Dewar Shield tourney to be held at New Plymouth on Monday, constitute a) record, numbering twenty-two. For the first time in the history of the competition, every senior club in the province is taking part. Three teams each were entered by Tukapa and Old Boys, and two each by Star, Stratford and Clifton. In order to reduce the number to twenty the Tukapa a!nd Old ‘Boys C. teams have withdrawn and will play in a friendly game.
