I KING'S THEATRE. COLLEEN MOORE SHINES IN "LOVE NEVER DIES." "Ipre' Never Dies," shown for the first time last night at the King's Theatre, is a war story dealing with the operations of the British air force, a squadron of whom are seen billeted at a" French farmhouse. The life of the airman is faithfullp depicted! with the hard parts and the joyul episodes. Colleen Moore, as the heroine, makes a pretty, mischievous French girl. Quite the most novel scen.e was that in which .-Colleen taxied round the landing ground in a plane, at times being chased and at other times chasing the whole force of pilots and mechanics on the scone. The planes in flight are an interesting feature, and a, fierce aerial battle is shown in progress, with machine-gun firing and planes coming down in flames. Altogether it is a drama full of colour and thrills. Gary Cooper makes an effective hero, and ~Kathryn McGuire lives up to her 1 reputation as the most beautiul blcqde in Hollywood. The picture is to some degree on the silent system. The sound apparatus supplies a continuous orchestral accompaniment, in which the melody Time" is extensively and effectively used, and sounds appropriate ■ to the operations in progress. Supporting the main picture are Roger Wolfe Kahn's orchestra, with vical items interspersed, and an extremely well-done little playlet, featuring Lois Wilson. The programme wil be repeated this evening.
