BOWLING
■ TARIKI OPENING. Tariki was the first central division club to open its green, the function taking place yesterday Afternoon. The green had received plenty of attention previously, and was found to be playing surprisingly true for so early in the season. In opening proceedings the president (Mr H. Rumball) extended a welcome to visitors and congratulated the green warden on the splendid condition of the rinks. The usual opening game, President v. Vice-President, was then played. Very enjoyable afternoon tea was supplied by the Tariki ladies.
