N.Z. FKEE LANCE, The high standard of play in the inter-island Rugby football match played at Wellington last Saturday indicates that it will be possible for the selectors to choose a formidable fifteen to oppose the British team which is to tour New Zealand next year. Several striking pictures of the play appear in the current issue of the New Zealand Free Lance. Other subjects dealt with in the pictorial section includes the Wanganui Little Theatre players in “Aladdin,” ladies’ golf championship at Sirley, annual art exhibition at Wellington, and the New Zealand Motor Traders’ Association’s conference at Palmerston North.
