METEOROLOGICAL RESEARCH
CONFERENCE IN LONDON Sept. 4. At a conference of Empire Meteorologists the agricultural section passed a resolution in favour of developing instruction in meteorology in national ami also agricultural schools throughout the Empire and requesting the Ministry of Agriculture to act as a clearing centre to distribute, throughomt the Empire results of agncultuia and meteorological research obtained from all parts of the world. The conference also recommended a survey to be made throughout, the Empire to solve problems connected with the effect of frost on fruit, also its resistance to disease and pests. Ihe next agricultural research conference AV ill be held in Australia or New Zealand in ,10112.
