At a conference of Empire Meteorologists the agricultural section passed a resolution in favour of developing instruction in meteorology in national ami also agricultural schools throughout the Empire and requesting the Ministry of Agriculture to act as a clearing centre to distribute, throughomt the Empire results of agncultuia and meteorological research obtained from all parts of the world. The conference also recommended a survey to be made throughout, the Empire to solve problems connected with the effect of frost on fruit, also its resistance to disease and pests.
