Early in the morning a lire broke out in a convent at Hayling Island i, f n w'hiich there f\ire GO London slum children. The nuns showed wonderful bravery and rescued the lot unscathed. The Mother Superior, Rev. Mother Celestine, in her last look round the building, was trapped on the top floor and burned to death.
