SEVENTEEN CASUALTIES. SIX SERIOUSLY HURT. Received 9.35 a.m.) - LONDON, July 2G., The Admiralty announces that a gun explosion occurred on the cruiser Devonshire in the Eastern Mediterranean. There were seventeen casualties, six of whom were seriously injured.—Australian, Press Assn. MALTA, July 2G. The Devonshire explosion occurred in the gun turret, the whole of which was blown away.
