YESTERDAY'S GAMES. Eiglit rinks were engaged on the Stratford Chib’s green yesterday, six from the Eltliam Club and two from the Avon Club. The weather was ideal and a very enjoyable time was spent. Avon won itheir mate hby a margin of eight points, but 1 Stratford had a substantial win over Eltham by 181 to 134.

STRATFORD SINGLES. The semi-final games for the Stratford Club’s singles championship were played last night, Harris defeating Sayers and Skoglund defeating' Ansley. The final thus lies be-' tween Harris and Skoglund.
AVON CLUB. CHAMPIONSHIP A SINGLES, Finality was reached iu the champion A singles played mi the Avon Bowling Club’s green last evening, when J. H. Fletcher met E. Tickles. The game, was strenuously contested, both’ players displaying good form, uo less than 27 heads being played before Fletcher scored the required number of points (21) to Ins opponents pi 7). The game was watched with interest by a large number ot players who at the end of the game congratulated both the players. Mr Fletcher suffered only one defeat throughout the competition,, and though some games remain unplayed he is in top position, as all the other competitors had two or more losses.
