HAWKERS DROWNED IN SWOLLEN RIVER.

SYDNEY, Feb. 15

Two Syrian hawkers, in attempting to cross a swollen creek near Port Macquarie, on the North Coast, were drowned to-day, their motorlorry being washed away.

The body of one of the flood victims earlier in the week, John Coulton, was recovered from snags today.
