GREAT CROWD AT STRATFORD. gathering at midhirst. Major Gray who is t’n© secretary for the Salvation Army Sunday Schools for the Taranaki and Hawke a Bav districts paid a visit to Stra ford and Midihirst yesterday. Special attention was given to meetings for young' people and at Midhirst during the dinner hour, over seventy Buldren gathered together for a sing song 'and o, talk by the Major. A peep in the Stratford Army Hall at 3.W revealed a, great crowd of children who appeared to be. enjoying the singing and) talks that was given by the visiter. Prior to the night gathering, which was mainly for adults, the Local Troop of Life Saving Guards wa« inspected by the Divisional Organiser. The visit of the Major was in every way a success.
