(Received 10.5 a.m.) AMSTERDAM, February HThere is an epidemic of fires throughout Holland, owing to the ™ ltl freezing the water supplies. Thoi fire brigade was called ouTt 'fifty times yesterday in Amsterdam alone. The we’d known theatre Tlio Flora, was burned to the ground while thd famous Town Hall at Leiden wa* destroyed also priceless archives and numerous treasures being consumed. Tlie brigades are helpless owing to the freezing of the water. Three other buildings were burned at den where the damage is estimated at hundreds of thousands sterling. Australian Press Assn.
