Mr J. T. Belcher loft this morning for Wanganui on holiday.
Mr O. 0. Miller, of the stores branch of the Public Works Department, is at present on his annual inspection visit to Stratford.
Mr J. O. Robins, manager of the local Public Trust Office, left this morning on an extended holiday, which will be spent in a. tour of the South Island.
Mrs C. N. Baeyertz, wife of the musical and literary critic who at one time conducted the New Zealand Triad, passed away in Auckland ,on Saturday, fr’om a heart attack. Slie is survived by two sons and one daughter. These are Mr C. Baeyertz (Sydney), Mrs M. Wyinks (Auckland), and Mr R. B. Baeyertz (Opunake). Mrs Baeyertz was a lady of high to the end of her life took a keen interest in all the best and latest in literature and music.
