TJ;|ci Pope has telegraphed the Papal Nuncios, announcing' that an agreement lias been readied •with the, Italian Government, which will be. signed! at the ILnteVan Palace on Sunday by Cardinal Gaspairl, the Secretary of State, and Signor Mussolini.

The new Papal State will be called Vatican City, and the Vatican ■will have the right to maintain a railway station, telegraph office, aerodrome and wireless station. It will also be allowed Lo mint it's own money and issue bank notes and postage stamps and have other rights of an independent sovereign state.

Offences committed in the Vatican territory will be tried in the Italian Court's. The Italian Government has increased the money indemnity from one to two billion lire, of which one billion is payable immediately.
