CHRISTMAS SERVICES
• : n HOLY TRINITY CHURCH. The Church of the Holy Trinity was beautifully decorated for the Christmas services. Holy Communion was held at 7 a.m., and was. largely attended, although many parishioners were away from town. The second celebration was held, at 11 a.m. and was fully choral. A shortened Evensong was said; at 7 p.ni. The vicar’s sermons' emphasised the reality d? the Incarnation, and stressed the significance of the abiding sense; of the presence of Christ and the soul as-being the essence of the Christian Eaith.
