A DEPRESSING PICTURE. CONDITION OF AGRICULTURE 1 . RIGA, December 6. “The Russian people, do not realise the tremendous menace hovering over our industrial plans,” said Rykoff to-day, giving the Communist conference a most depressing picture of the condition of agriculture in Russia.
“The chief trouble is that the population increases while cultivation diminishes.”
There is also a danger of rupture between agriculture and industry ruining our whole industrialisation.
