REFRESHMENTS AT THE SHOW
TWO EXCELLENT REPORTS. At last night's meeting of chair'men of sections at the recent Show excellent reports were received reigarding the two refreshment places *run by the A. and P. Association. TEA KtfOSK. Mr D. M. Clarke reported that 1 at the tea kiosk there was a considerable loss on perishable goods, owing to the weather being hotter than ! usual, but in spite of this a profit! of about £BO would be shown. The night shows had tended to increase 'the returns. [LUNCHEON ROOM. Mr J. Crowe said he believed the returns from the luncheon room would 'be clown. This was a result of fine weather. If the weather was bad people tended to use the room more. The staff in the room was a good one, and all members worked well. They could do with more ventilation—the room was very hot on
Thursday. 1 The Rev. CanOn Kayll saM Mr Crewe and his staff deserved every congratulation. The luncheon sup- | "plied at' the Stratford Show compared favourably with that at other similar functions. The decorations and the turnout generally wer e vei;y 'creditable. Mr Fletcher said the running of the luncheon rOcm was an example for the whole Show. The chairman remarked that last vear it was announced that since the
inception of the Show the luncheon room and tea kiosk had returned a profit of £IBOO to the Association. Except for this help the present position of th e Association would he very different, L.rJitiJULa^ 1
