Mrs M J. Taylor, of Taurakawa, left this morning for Pahnerston North on a holiday visit. , Miss Geraldine Fitzgerald, of the King's Theatre staff,, is at present spending a holiday in Greytown. Mrs K Storey, who has bee.n spending a short stay with Mr and Mrs F Kear, left for her home m Wellington by' the mail trail this morning. Mr K. Wilson, late of! the Stratford staff of the National Bank, and now on the Wellington staff, who had been on a short holiday visit' to Stratford, left' for Wellington this morning.

The death occurred suddenly yesterday of Mrs C. Adams, of Remuera Auckland. The deceased lady, who was a sister of Mrs J. D. Healy, of Stratford, was well known in Taranaki, having previously resided at New Plymouth.
