TARANAKI BANDS UNION

RULES ADOPTED. THE COMING CONTEST, Mr P. Skogluud, president, was in thq chair at last night’s meeting of the Taranaki Brass and Pipe Bands Union. Rules, as revised at a previous meeting, were discussed and adopted. Mr R. J. Estall, conductor of the Woolston Band, Christchurch, was selected as adjudicator for the brass bands section at the contest to he held in New Plymouth in March. The amount of prize money and trophies to be allotted! was loft in the hands of a local committee, which is to be arranged by New Plymouth members.
