SPIDER BITE ... CAUSES TROUBLE.

HAMILTON, This Day. A painful experience befell R. McLeod, a Morriusville farmer, who felt a sharp sting behind his ear and quickly brushed cff a spider. McLeod was mounting a waggon a few moments later when he was attacked with faintness. H e staggered to a seat in a store and his face became hot and swollen. A numbing sensation travelled down his right arm, and he was unable to see. He was removed to a Mcrrinsville hospital, but later recovered sufficiently to return home. The bite had been inflicted by an ordinary house spider frequently found on windows. Medical men state it is well known that som@ persons are susceptible to the bite of an ordinary spider, but this is a rare occurrence.
