SEVEREST FOR YEARS. VESSEL AT MOTUROA WHARF DAMAGED. Press Association —Copyright. NEW PLYMOUTH, This Day. During the severe storm raging during the last day or two the oilcarrying vessel Paua sustained damage while discharging at the Newton King wharf. The plates on the starboard side were dented, and the spring piles of the wharf also suffered. Discharge is completed, and the vessel is waiting for the weather to moderate before leaving for Wellington. The westerly storm was the severest for a long time. Very heavy seas are still running outside.
