MOTIVE FOR MURDER
JAPANESE, CONFESSES. TO MAKE PARENTS HAPPY. HONOLULU, Sept. 23. Fukunaga, who confesses to the murder of a ten years old boy named Jnmieson, told a correspondent that the principal motive of his. crime; was to make "my parents happy." He explained that he had planned to collect ransom and migrate to California and! to return after some months, saying he had made a fortune there, and send hia parents, to Japan, where they always dreamed of going. Then, when his parents were comfortably settled, he intended to surrender himself to the authorities.
